Coin boxes are interchangeable with
ESD and Greenwald Coin/Money Boxes

Over the years the cosmetic appearance of the boxes have varied both from manufacturer to manufacturer and within a given size box. The illustration below will help guide you in determining which coin box fits your machine.  Some may refer to coin boxes as money boxes, or vice versa.

Guardian Coin Boxes

Guardian style coin boxes are used on a variety of machines. We recommend measuring the coin vault area on your machine, or the current box that you have, to ensure proper fit. Smaller money boxes may fit your machine but they are not recommended for optimal use.

NOTE: Measurements are nominal and may vary slightly. All measurements are taken from the tray only, not the face of the box. If you are measuring from the front of the box, your dimensions may vary.

Monarch Coin and Security, Inc. does not recommend attempting to change the locks of your existing boxes with new locks. This may lead to malfunction of the box and operation difficulties. For the best operation and security, we recommend replacing your coin boxes with new ones in the event a lock has been damaged or keys compromised.

When purchasing just a lock cylinder, Monarch cannot guarantee that a new lock will work in a coin box made by another manufacturer. If you have a money box with a long shaft through the center, locks and extensions can be purchased without issue. Please have the length of the extension for proper fit when ordering a replacement.
